I love it, hope you enjoy your new powerbook!

    Edit:

P.S this is my first mac ever, and it was well worth the wait.

That's one hell of a nice first Mac! And thanks, I do love my PowerBook. I thought I'd be upset over a G4, but it is a nice system for a portable.

Any plans to increase the RAM? It'd be a shame to have a monster like that with only 512 megs RAM :D

Oh yeah, i am diffinately going to put more ram in it. I got it last Wednesday afternoon and flew down to San Diego that night for a 2 day trip. The whole time on the trip all I wanted to do is play with my new machine. Needless to say I got good footage for the documentry I am putting together, and now have a great new mac to edit it on.

I think that I am going to add 1 gig at first for a total of 1.5 and see how that works. If I feel that I need more I might add another gig.

I know how you feel, I got my PowerBook on a Thursday and that Friday my girlfriend wanted to spend a weekend with me...needless to say that Saturday morning I had to make a quick trip back to pick up my PowerBook...man, she was pissed. She wouldn't let me back into bed after I got up to play around with it and was stuck in the chair for most of the night.
