It's looking a lot better, but at least give the page a title other than "Untitled Document" ;)
I think maybe you should try another font, ariel always looks smart/tidy.
Maybe add rollovers on the navigations buttons?

    ...but yeah, much better :)

    First things first:

    1. Spell check and grammar. I never take a site seriously that has an average 2 mistakes/sentence.

    2. Don't use vignettes.

The page banner needs to have cleaner breaks and not be so fuzzy/faded. Its making it hard to see what any of the images actually are.

    Good luck! :D

It's a decent looking site but I think you need an editor.

    Now.

In MX, either Shift+F7, or Text > Check spelling.

It's a very clean looking site. It would help to get someone to review the site for spelling and grammar. That said, it is very thorough and the point of the site comes across very well.

One way to make text boxes in DW is to use layers, it is also an easy way to place pictures next to text. I'm sure there must be other ways, I'm definitely not a pro but it works for me.

The cool thing about layers is that they can overlap and can be adjusted however you want.

But the problem is with cross browser/platform compatibility. Layers tend to render in slightly different positions depending what browser you're using, just like framesets, iframes, etc.

yep, i'm finding that out. It has been a hit and miss kind of education for me, it's fun though and sometimes the way the layers line up is sort of cool. Sometimes!

Go to the insert pulldown, choose layer. It allows you to draw a box on the page. You can then insert text, pictures, etc into it. The only thing is, as edesignuk said, the layer will change position in different browsers.

I wasn't very clear about that, sorry. In Dreamweaver, at the top where it says insert, click on it and then click on layer.

One thing I would recommend is making the site name a little bigger and maybe the pictures on the front page bigger too. The fuzziness is cool but they're sort of small and hard to see.

I think its a great site and as you get more people coming to it I'm sure they'll have more suggestions. I'm not a golfer so.. I really like the news page with the summaries.

the best way to do it would be to add "style="float:right" in the <img> tag, then it'll appear inline with the text.
