Just had a friend send me this one. It'll give you a good laugh.
"A guy is driving along while leaving a voice mail message for a friend when suddenly the guy witnesses a car accident--a fender-bender...(very minor, nothing in any way tragic). The guy's entire reaction to the accident was captured on his friend's voice mail account. Southwestern Bell and a Texas TV station were kind enough to post it on the Internet for one and all. It is simply hysterical. (What cracks me up most is the sound of the guy's laugh.) This, without a doubt, will brighten your day. Have a listen and enjoy!" http://home.swbell.net/kf5tv/voicemail.mp3

Oh man, I had tears streaming down my cheeks! Thanks for sharing.

I can picture the scene perfectly, I love his reaction. For being caught up in a scene he describes it very well, I can almost picture the "little old mother goose woman"

that's funny! his laugh was priceless, reminded me of the crazy mailman from Funny Farm :D
I can't believe the little old ladies beat the guy up! (and the whole "bible beaters" metaphor ;)) I almost wondered if it were real but dang, he was really cracking himself up there. if it was a hoax, he might have a career in Hollywood :)

I haven't had a chance to try and contact the station to verify, but as best as I can decipher, it's the real thing, no hoax. I had to repeat it a couple of times today, just for another laugh :)

Interesting, "eem-peh-leh" for Impala, and "winna" for window... A cattle prod, umbrella?! Just like Mother Goose?

This guy sounds um... like he doesn't live in CA, that's for sure. :p

I second that. I lived in Austin for a while. It was crazy out there.

But that was some funny stuff.

My boss at work got emailed that link a couple of months back and played it for a few of us. Hysterically funny. He was supposed to send it to me and never did, then dumped the email. Thanks for finding this. I had a good laugh again this morning, and will send this on to a few folks.

Well, I must say that I also found it extremely funny, although it was sometimes hard to understand for a non-native English speaker.

I heard that on talk radio awhile back they claimed it was real, but who knows. If the guy was in his car on a cell phone there might not be any bg noise.

    Texas scares me :D

the maniacal laughter and use of words is what got me on this, i will quote devilot's eloquent description "this guy isn't from CA, that's for sure" INDEED ;)
