Need Help Right Away!!!

    i need to burn dvds for my uncle...he gave me a bunch of memory sticks and he just wants me to burn them just the way he filmed them...no editing...but the movies are .avi...and they wont play in quicktime its just a white screen...i tried everything...i downloaded a million codecs and i dont even know if they are in effect...i just downloaded them and im guessing they are just in quicktime now I DONT KNOWWW...i downloaded 2 other codecs and they are sitting on my desktop as .sit files...i hav no idea wat to do with them...i just wanna burn these dvds asap...somebody please helpp!! HOW CAN I MAKE THESE VIDEOS PLAYY!!?? thanks in advance

    Insert the avi's to Imovie pull them into the timeline and export to DVD
    should take 5minutes and I am a mac newbie

    Post a screem capture of what QT says when you display the movie info (Command-I).

    ?-Law 2:1, Stereo, 22.050 kHz

    thats wat quicktime displays as the format...and the extension is a .avi
