I am trying to setup an FTP connection to load a webpage I made onto the internet. I am using dreamweaver and have tried to go through the whole setup process and nothing is showing up online. My biggest question is what do i put in for the FTP host part? I was given an IP address, is that what I put in? The name of the webpage is blondieshomestaging.com. I thought I went through the whole setup process correctly and it says that it connected with the ftp server ok but nothing is showing up. any advice? thanks guys.

For FTP host, I think it is usually something like ftp.nameofsite.com, aka ftp.blondieshomestaging.com.

Who is hosting this site?

Maybe try "Passive FTP" under the options for the remote server.

You'll need the address (the IP you got), a username and password. Put them in and it should work, though dreamweaver complicates things occasionally.

If you can't figure it out, consider using Cyberduck and just moving the files by hand. It's very easy to use.
