Can anyone please help me out I am totally stumped on this. I bought a 1.25ghz mac mini from my friend about 3-4 months ago and it was a little slow lag wise on the net. So I upgraded the ram to 1gig and the hard drive to a 7200 RPM 80 gig. It is still lagging on the net hardcore..I do not understand why it does this. The computer just seems to lag and lag really bad on some sites (espn.com, ign.com). I have tried multiple browsers (safari, firefox, Bonecho), I know mac's are not supposed to be this slow. Even as I am typing this is seems to be lagging behind what I am typing. If anyone can please shed some light on this problem for me and maybe how to fix it even a little bit it would be MUCH appreciate. :(

Sounds like a Flash issue. Those sites are rather heavy with it.

    Upgrading Flash might help.

    http://www.adobe.com/

    Otherwise it's a pain on OS X.
