    Hi

I am trying to boot a power pc G5 iMac 17 inch with the leopard disk and it will not boot of the disk! After holding down alt I get it to boot from the leopard disk and then it starts then all I get is the spinning beach ball of death?

    So can someone help!

You need to hold down the C key not the option/alt key.

Yes. It's called patience. Try it out. ;)

DVD's take a long time to boot. Just leave it be. Sometimes on older PowerPC Macs Leopard can take 10-15 min.
