Network share help

    I have a windows XP pro machine that I use as a connected network shared drive. I connect to it with a relatively new late '04 model ibook. I also run the Remote Desktop Client control the PC.

    I was looking at the contents of a shared directory with the finder and realized that only a few of the files were displayed. I could see all of them when I switched to the actual PC desktop. I noticed that there were many files in this directory, so I moved some of them to a new sub-directory. The files them became visible in the finder.

    Is this a common problem? Anyone have ideas / comments?

    Does it happen frequently? Maybe there was just a glitch this time. Happened to me as well some time I think via wireless network.

    This was the first time I noticed it. I haven't had many opportunities to explore it.
