I have an iBook G4 and a Blue and White G3 Powermac.

I'm trying to network both of these machine together, with no success.

Both network to the router no problem, both are now on the internet, that bit was easy. The router is 192.168.0.1, the iBook is the same sequence but ending in .2, the PM ends in .3.

Neither machine will see each other, what am I doing wrong?

Before i go any further, i do have my firewall turned on in both machines but they allow for personal file sharing. Personal file sharing is also running, the iBook is also running printer sharing as well.
I have also gone into the info of each HD from each machine and changed the owner from admin to network and it is set at "Read and Write" for both.

Both still come with this error:The Finder cannot complete the operation because some data in "smb://192.168.0.3" could not be read or written. (Error code -36).

Can anybody help me?

Don't use the "smb://" header, just go to Command-K and type in the IP address. SMB is used to connect to Windows machines.
