I am having problems connecting to the net through my mac, so read my brief and please help:

1. WinPC connected to net through sky router box
2. Homeplug 1 router plugged into sky router.
2. Homeplug 2 connected to mac.

Net was working fine until last week. All 3 lights on HP are working, so nothing wrong with the HP. I switched the homeplugs and ethernet cables between pc and mac. HP are fine, but cannot say if cables are fine.

Decided to try to establish network connection in mac. It says I need to get network config details from Sky. Never needed this as I always used Homeplugs to route net through my pc.

In summary, the problem could be:
1. Ethernet cables are not working or
2. Network reconfig in mac; if it is this, then I need help, as not sure what to do.

Any other thoughts on this, please comment.

cheers, S:confused::confused:

swap the network cables around so you can test each of them between the PC and the sky router

is the homeplug device a router, or just a device for extending an ethernet connection over a your power infrastructure ?
