Yeah I downloaded it, took a while cause I'm only on a 128k connection, and I liked it, although it's very short for 645 megs! I found a bug - I selected to make my character male, but in one of the screens later on it referred to him as "she". Anyway I hope they release an updated demo as they get closer to release, I'd love to see a different part of the world before forking over my hard-earned cash :)

Guys single player is NOTHING. the multiplayer is insane. tons of UNIQUE player made PERSISTANT worlds with thousands of UNIQUE items and such.

its total D&D so you can level up your character basically however you want, very rare to find two players excactly the same unless they are both pure class.

NWN = best MORPG ever. its the ONLY reason i boot up my pc.

kinda broke right now though, sucks that i probably cant just use the PC cds like q3 =(

nwn refers to all characters as "she". it does the same thing in the manual too.

Nope, all the servers are player run.

there are some great persistant worlds with enough content to make it alot like mmorpgs.. except they are usually well under 100 players at a time.

i think the best part about this game is to design your own levels and play other peoples levels. sometimes its the only reason to buy this game. its just a sham they didnt port it to mac.

According to MacSoft, they aren't even taking Pre-Orders yet. Where did you get the information that it is shipping? (I really hope you're right.)

the game has been slated to ship in July, but Macsoft does indeed say they will only be taking preorders in july, not yet. the advertised price is 49.99.

i have the PC version of this game and it rocks. i tried the demo on my GHz TiBook and it ran perfectly. i am really pepped about this, and hope they release the expansion soon.

i would also like to be counted in for a possible macrumors clan.
