hey if you check out audis site they have the new 2006 A4s.

I'm not quite sure if I like them. They look very honda civic like. I honestly think I like the previous version of them more. The S4 I don't think has changed its look but I didn't look very hard.

They're pretty much just new 2005 Jettas that have been remade for Audi. Just like the Escape and Tribute.

I'm really considering going pick-up one of those new Jettas. HOT! ;)

I'm pretty sure its the other way around and Audi gives VW its old technology. I could be wrong...

The new bug came before the TT.

The Passat came before the redesigned A6.

The Jetta came before the new A4.

I had an Audi once. Most unreliable car I have ever owned.

But it was pure silk and linen to drive. :D

Old Audis and new Audis are completely different IMO. I don't think the VW group gives VW (the manufacturer) better technology than Audi and that includes platforms. I can tell you as a mechanical engineer that the base platform of a car is only ever updated a little less than twice a decade. From memory the Jetta and the A4 aren't really comparable as one is based on the Golf platform and one is the A4 platform. Similarly, the current Passats use the platforms from underneath the last generation A6s.

I'm more than happy to be proved otherwise though. ;)
