Thanks Lemon! Rower and Duke are redoing the site and it is going to be amazing! Duke did the ads. I love the way that he did them. Thanks for the support.

I'm buying a new Powermac within the year so General Cybernetics can expect some business from me soon. I like the name too.

Oh sweet... you install RAM for free. One of my pet hates is places that charge to install RAM. Like it takes more than a minute...

Actually, the only thing I hate more is when places won't let you buy something unless they install it themselves... "that'll be $2.50 for the part, and $99.00 for labour..." Heh... :)

Wow, again I am blown away by the support that we have had so far. We have had over 300 hits in the first 20 hours. Unreal really. Arn, you kick but, and wait till you see the revision that Rower, Duke and Cleo are working on. :D

i like the ads and generally the site. the one thing that definitely needs work is the actual shopping cart part. the drop downs are poorly placed and take up alot of memory in a non-IE browser. This means that they are not exactly standards compliant and can definitely be streamlined. I do like the idea of adding it to a text console tho, instead of going to a complete different page just to add one product.

A question tho. How does a company afford to offer free RAM? DDR aint cheap. Esp 512 of PC2700.

The store is an applet that is run on a secure page. I have asked that some of it be cleaned up, but it is just taking time. Rower and Duke are working on the front side of the store, but the back end is all my boss. He is set in his ways, but I agree.

As for the DDR. Minimize cost.

Right now at this time we are not an authorized reseller of Apple Refurbished Products. We are going to explore the possiblity of this in the future, and will let it be known when we do.

    Thanks,

you know the nice thing about buying from general cybernetics would be that we have easy access to you guys through MR. Not as impersonal as buying somewhere else. if i didnt have edu and apple employee discount id definitely buy from you guys. i will certainly recommend you.

They don't do that because the resellers don't make any money out of edu discount computers.
