The title says it all. I have a new battery in my 2007 MacBook, but my computer still says it's at 237 cycles. Is there a way to reset the cycle count? It does say, however, the battery is at 100% health.

    Thanks in advance!

The cycle count is associated with the actual battery. You're sure this is a new battery?

Also, 237 cycles and you're replacing it?

The old battery was warped and bulging outward. It looked as if it were about to explode! It was three and a half years old, I needed to replace it.
