Its not consistent. Sometimes turning mouse off then on again fixes it, other times restarting bluetooth service fixes it, other times restarting iMac does the trick and worst case I have to actually do a cold boot!

At best it works but I am forever putting new batteries in the mouse anyway. I use a full size keyboard with a wire. What is wrong with a wire? Why don't Apple make the magic mouse with a wire. I don't see the point in making a reliable computer and then make it unreliable by using flaky bluetooth and batteries!
