New intel macs seem fast at expo? there ram is maxed out

    What the hell are you talking about? "Maxed out" is only 2 gigs. The new Intel Macs are plenty fast.

    Exactly... Even the bloody Quad only ships with a paultry 512 as standard. Apple are evil when it comes to memory..

    Doesn't the RISC architecture mean lesser memory requirements?

    Am I missing something?
