I just received my new MacBook (1.83 GHz, white with 1GB RAM). I've only had it for a few hours, but, so far, no mooing or whining or any other weird problems that others have had. The serial number starts with 4H6260. The only "flaw" I can find is that I have to tilt the display back quite far to see it at the right contrast, otherwise, black appears gray and the colors look too washed out. Turning down the brightness doesn't help. Is there any way to adjust this? Will calibrating fix it? I'm concerned that on a plane, it's going to be hard to see the screen because you often can't tilt the sceen back very far on those cramped airplane seats.
