OMG! WHAT??!!! Impeach Bush now. What the hell will be left of this country in 3 years? Will we even recognize it? The parallels between this country and Germany in the 30's are frightening.

    A felony?!?!

Holy crap...this guy really is going power-crazy, isn't he?

Can we really survive another three years of him?

Is this what they did to Cindy Sheehan? She was invited to the SOTU and then escorted out by security before it even began. I used to like Spectre, but like McCain, he has let me down again. :(

Reports I've read say she was wearing a shirt with the number of dead in Iraq and tried to bring in a banner. As much as I hate Bush, the SOTU is no place for a protest. Sheehan is an idiot if this is true. She was invited and could have done her cause a lot of good by merely being there and getting lots of camera time.

I wouldn't doubt this was planned to get her some press.

This bill is DOA, BTW. Senate and Congress have said they will not renew it, contrary to asshat's™ desires.

According to CNN there is a "no demonstrating" policy for those sitting in the gallery. Sheehan was asked to cover up her shirt up but refused and was therefore arrested.

To the OP  and :( are about the best I can come up. I don't think I can put into words what exactly I'm feeling right now.

I hadn't heard she was trying to bring in a banner. Actually I did hear that (via FOX), but have heard no substantiating evidence for their claim. Sheehan claims to have had no banner, just a shirt with some numbers and words on it.

EDIT: I have also not heard that she was warned before being hustled out and arrested. From what I hear, she started to remove her coat, a security guard (who I'm sure had an eye on her already) yelled out "protester" and she was removed. No 'please put your coat on Mrs. Sheehan' AFAIK.

Update I grabbed from Yahoo News. Charges dropped against Sheehan as well as Rep. C.W. "Bill" Young's (R-Fla) wife whom was removed for wearing a "Support our Troops" shirt.

It was not the Secret Service is was the Capital Police.
