I have a NEW PowerBook 12" and the hinges are way to lose and make craking nosies when I open it... Any ideas for this, like WD40?

    :)

Don't use WD-40 or you might void the warranty. Of course, if you were just joking, I was just playing along.

The screen hinge shouldn't be loose, but since I don't have a 12" PB, I can't attest to that. Plus, what you consider loose may not be what others consider loose.

You should probably take it to an Apple Store if you have one nearby. Or you could call Apple and talk about it with them.
