Is it charged between 90 and 100%?

How do you know it is not charging?

Have you checked help file in OSX and then called Apple?

Some good battery apps.


X-Charge Generates detailed logs along with a graph, though the graph has issues from time to time.

SlimBattery is a replacement for the menu bar icon. It conveys more information in a smaller amount of space.

Coconut distills the same information about your battery that can be found in the System Profiler. (Finder--->About This Mac-->More Info->Hardware>Power.

All are good applications that have never given me any problems.

Also, did you calibrate it when you first got it (charge it completely up then completely discharge it until it falls asleep, then charge it again)? As Eniregnat implies, these things will not charge if they are already charged up to or beyond 95% to avoid overcharging the cells. :)
