I subscribe to National Geographic and I was surpised to see that they are going to have a swimsuit issue. Pretty cool actually.

Its amazing to think how much styles have changed in a century, and I can't imagine wearing a head to toe suit for just casual swimming in the ocean in the summer. :D

    Not I retrospective I imagine? ;)

But what is it exactly about the swimsuit issues? There seem to be more and more of them every time you look at the magazine section? That's what really blew me away with NationalGeo, not something you'd expect.

National Geographic is a well respected magazine. It always covers news of the world in a very tasteful manner. A classic magazine that has been tested with time.

    What about those aboriginals ;)

They also managed to get away with nudity where other magazines wouldn't publish the pics. Always interesting, that's for sure, I've been a subscriber for 20 years or so now.

Ha!! I used to get it as a gift every year from my grandmother when I was a kid, probably more than 20 years ago, now that I think about it.

And there are plenty here much older than myself :D

We've already had Miss MacRumors :D

Actually twice. But we'll need to have a few more if we plan on having a whole issue.....

Maybe its time for Miss MacRumors V3.0?

I'm kind of surprised the amount of use that pic gets. Truly a classic, though.

But I don't think that's exactly a swimsuit there Rower....;)
