New web IDE released for OS X!

    Finally it has been released!

    As there has been a strong demand for a MacOS X version it has been decided to also make a OS X Developer Preview of BasaOne available.

    EDIT: November 25th, 2003: BasaOne 1.0 has been released with a vastly enhanced nearly 100 page User guide and tutorial with project file.

    I downloaded it. It looked "old school" so I deleted it.

    IDE stands for Integrated Developing Enviroment. It consists of a text editor-type program which is integrated into the compiler. This way, you can do all of the work in one program. Much easier and faster in general.

    Yes, of course the user interface still has to be enhanced a lot!
    This is just a Developer Preview to show the possibilities of the technology.

    Oh ok, I was a little confused. It didn't look like a new app and I thought it was kind of unpolished.

    Basasoft has released the much improved free public beta of BasaOne, their Integrated Web Application Development Environment for Mac OS X.

    The website has also been redesigned and more content has been added.

    Public Beta v2 has just been released and can be downloaded freely.

    Public Beta v3 has just been released and can be downloaded freely. There are lots of bugfixes related to MySQL, compiler, etc.
