I know this is an incredibly newbie question. All I want to do is create a new Mail folder..Not a Smart Folder.. All I see is options to Create a New Smart Folder. How can I create a regular folder?

Are you using the Tiger (the newest operating system) and the Mail that comes with it? If so, underneath all your mailboxes there's a "+" symbol (to the left of the cog). If you click that it'll create a new normal folder. :)

There should also be a "New Mailbox..." right above "New Smart Mailbox..." wherever it occurs: contextual menus, the main Mailbox menu, etc.

I am using Tiger 10.4. When I click on the "+" sign, it gives me options for creating a new mailbox.

ETA: I thought creating a new mailbox was if I wanted to configure it for another a mail address. I was looking in the right place, I just didn't understand the context.

    Thanks for your help!

Yep...type in a name for it, and it will create a new, "non-smart" mailbox.
