This was confirmed a while back... it's still a GameCube game, but will be able to use the Wii controllers features as well. Sort of a half next gen Zelda. There is a Wii Zelda in the works, with something completely knew, they claim.

Yeah I knew that it was confirmed by Miyamoto, but I just wanted to point people in the direction of the headline. I got the E3 jitters already and had to talk Zelda!

I posted this in the webcast thread but may as well re-post it here seeing as it's being discussed. This is a snippet from TIME magazine available through academic institutions at the moment. I've not got access myself (I'm remoted login which doesn't allow access) but still interesting reading. I initially got this from a post on somethingawful.

    Stream of keynote

    .Andy you rock.

I think it is safe to say that everyone who thought Wii would fail because of its name and specs will be eating their words when it goes on sale.

By the way, for those interested, GameTrailers.com will be streaming the Nintendo keynote live when it happens. Not sure what codec they will use for this but they do offer all their downloadable movies in QuickTime.
