I sort of hope I'm not the only one with this problem, and maybe someone can provide some solutions: I was able to update my OS, install the firmware patch, and then create the necessary partition (12Gig) and install Windows XP completely on my MacBook Pro (2x2Gig); however, after two complete attempts at installing the MBP driver updates as directed by Apple, half-way through the update the mouse and keyboard stop working, and there seems to be no way to get them back again. I've rebooted many times, tried safe mode, and ultimately reformatted and reinstalled XP again, but the same problem happens. The mouse/trackpad stops responding right before the window asking if I want to continue with the installation of the X1600 video drivers, so I never get to say "Yes" to that. I can shut down with the power button, but that's it. OSX works fine, the drive selector on startup works fine, but the trackpad stops responding while XP is booting - and the mouse (if connected) light goes out at the same time. The caps-lock button on my keyboard doesn't even work when XP is running. When I installed XP the second time, everything worked normally until running the driver updates again. So it's the drivers, but how do I get around this, because the system is practically useless without them. Any help is appreciated. Thanks. J.
