I've been really happy with my Apple TV but the past week I've run into an issue where no sound is played. The only thing I've found to fix it is to hard reset by holding down the home and play button. Not a huge deal but it's something I shouldn't have to do, much less every time I turn on the device.

Anyone else encountered this and have a solution?

Restart the unit. It's usually an HDMI handshake problem. Man this stuff is glitchy. Get a similar issue on my Vudu app on the BD player. It's rare, but this should be basic stuff.
