A story from the back pages, but indicative of where our country is headed nonetheless. Read the entire thing. The real kicker is at the end.

Not a single Muslim? Is the thought of paying Muslims to take flying lessons too sensitive an issue?

You're right this is the real kicker of this article. It's exactly this kind of ignorant and holier-than-thou attitude that is most likely causing the interolerance at the academy. It's sickening to see how people can hear of these problems, and completely turn it around to act like it's the Christians who are the victims.

You got it. Preventing Christians from harassing people of other faiths constitutes "persecution."

I've often wondered how such an overwhelming majority can feel so oppressed and persecuted...

    Bingo.

If you truly have faith, you don't require the verification or vilification of others to be secure in that faith.

Christians who feel the need to persecute and persuade (and feign persecution of their own) are simply acting out on their own repressed doubts, much like a repressed homosexual will lash out at gays.

They're not true "believers" and you can tell because they yell too loud.

Their faith is so weak and so full of holes that they feel the need to purge society of any and all outside influences that could lift the veil on their doubts.

Not defending anything, but anyone with any brains should know that free thinking is NOT encouraged in the military.

Couldn't have put it more succinctly. Would be a helpful reminder to the proselytisers of all faiths...

And I will renew my call again-where is the religious left? Or middle? Why do Christians and other faithful continue to let radicals represent them? Speak up and organize against these fools. We need you.
