Non-Flash interactive mp3/audio player for website

I'm building myself a website and do not want to use Flash and was wondering if there are alternatives that are:

1. Highly compatible cross os/browser
2. Interactive to give the listen control plus include playlist
3. Fairly easy to implement without knowing tons of code

My code knowledge is primarily HTML/CSS but I can pick up on other languages and cut and paste like no other. Just looking for recommendations and thoughts. Thanks.

Hmm, have you tried looking around on the internet for "javascript mp3 players" or jquery players? A lot of them have some sort of back-end Flash system, but I'm sure there must be something that works for you.
