I just bought a 17inch PB with 1g of ram.

i was wondering if anyone knows whether or not this will be suffiecient enuf to run Medal of Honor. Was also wondering how that game was for the mac. yes. im a nooby. just switched from my constant crashing dell.

if you know of any other games that would run great on this setup..please tell!

First all n00b need to know how to spell n00by. :)

    joking...

You can't put anymore RAM on it so you are all set.

    It should run great.
    Have fun. :D

    Re: Nooby Question

That should be able to run any current Mac game. If it can't, then that game is doomed because of its absurdly high system requirements (specifically, only very recent high end powermacs could run it).

congrats on the switch, that's a nice machine you got there. personally, i've never played MOH for the mac, but from what i hear it's a sweet game.i'm sure the PB will meet your standards in running any game you want, except for maybe doom III, which nobody'll be able to play :)

    Re: Nooby Question

If you like First person shooters any game thats out for mac will run well on that setup.
I personally am stuck on unreal tournament mods such as Tacops Infiltration and The Third Reich.
Stronghold is a good castle sim game
Star Wars Galactic battlegrouns and Age of empires II are both good strategy games.
I havent heard much about undying or Star trek elite force anymore
And of course Diablo II is a classic role playing game

    thanks.

i put it there after numerous "CS on Mac" threads.

i wish the UT for X would run better under X. i had to delete TO because of speed/quality issues (with UT, not TO. :) )

    Are you still playing TO?

Another member and I "started" a clan last year for TO, but nothing really happened with it.

    Want to join?

sure, I would have to reinstall TO for the same reasons you stated.
I would like to see a new issue of UTX myself, but haven't heard anything.
I'm just happy to have mod developers supportting the mac platform.
