The Expansions are worth it if you are a RPG fan. Not just hack and slash dungeon crawl.
My favorite part of NWN is the Hordes of Underdark Expansion, I dont play the original anymore. Being able to equip the hirelings is really neat. as well as the new classes.

Heh, I played the demo last year sometime, and I thought "this is a cool game, I'll have to pick it up"! But never did. I saw it was still $50 and figured it would go down soon, so I would just finish the Frozen Throne (finally) and snag it for $30...

Well, here I am in 2006, no NWN, 'cause it's STILL FIFTY DAMN DOLLARS.

There are so many cool mods out now, including some neat looking persistant world ones, that I may break down and buy it though.

    :p

Well, that's $75US, which is about right... the game is $45-50 and the expansion is ~$25, so ya, it's still $50.

I saw it at the Apple Store in Pentagon City last week for $30. I would think all ther Apple Stores would keep the same price point.

This is truly a great game! I think that all the expansions are worth playing, but Hordes of the Underdark is probably the best. :)

Hey, thanks! I just checked Apples site and it is indeed $30 there. It's still $50 everywhere else, never thought to look at Apples site (they are usually right at MSRP for stuff).
