Odd ichat error

OK so i have been using ichat on and off for most of the day but when i went to go start ichat back up just a little bit ago i got this very odd error message. More or less my question is what on earth dose it mean and is it bad? And if it needs to be fixed how would i go about doing so?

Perhaps you should remove com.apple.ichatAgent.plist from the folder you find it in.

OK but would that not kill all my prefs and things that i have set for ichat. ?

The iChatAgent preference file contains your buddy picture and the iTunes display setting AFAIK. Irrespective, if you keep the file this means that you can quit iChat, put the original file back where you found it, reopen iChat and regain these old settings.
