# of shared photos on iPad is not correct?

I used a shared album in Photos on my Mac to share lots of photos to my Appletv and I am also viewing them on my iPad. I added lots of photos and deleted lots of photos on my Mac and ended up with around 200 shared ones. However, my iPad seems to show over 800 photos in the album. I'm guessing it is still displaying the ones I already deleted. My Appletv shows the correct ones though my iPad does not. What is wrong? I rebooted the iPad though it still is not correct.
