My intention is for this to be an artistic and serious thread of you area... it would be nice to see some contrast ie. countryside, build up "hustle and bustle" city ect

Ah...only 150 miles out then - not a bad shot, considering you could have been from anywheres...

I view of sunflower boxes from my back porch (cropped so that it could be uploaded). If you want a larger, and much better version PM me. :)

I live in the small college town of Kutztown, PA. I took the shot after a snow and used iPhoto to give it a Sepia tint...

Note: keep in mind that I did not take any of these pictures, but all of these pictures are from places that I have already been to.

[IMG] <--- My favorite beach, the fishing there is very good
    [IMG]
[IMG] <--- Unfortunately the only train service left on the Cape, but I have been on that train several times and it is a very nice and pretty ride
    [IMG]
[IMG] <--- The fishing there is also very good too
[IMG] <--- The bridge in the foreground is the Bourne Bridge, only 1 of 2 bridges you can get on the cape by car. The bridge in the background is the only way to get onto the Cape by train.

Here are a couple places in my area - Baltimore, Maryland. The pics are all recent.
One is of my home (taken today). Two are from a pond a few blocks away where my son likes to feed ducks. Other two were taken today at the Hopkins undergrad campus about one mile away. My photography skills aren't very good, but I'm working on them  . Just got a new camera yesterday (new one is a Canon 300D; my other camera is an S50).
