Mmm... new iBook day.. Yum!
This is great!!! as I have never had a laptop with a battery before! I had a used PB G3 w/ no battery, bought one, didn't work very well at all.. wouldn't start up from it and stuff... ugh..DeSnousa said:Soooo True, the iBooks are like the energizer bunny. They go and go, expect 2.5-4.5 hours of use depending on what you are doing.
leaving it plugged in it fine. i'm pretty sure that once it is charged leaving it plugged in only powers your computer, it isn't charging as you run off the battery if you get what i mean.illegal amigo said:My iBook is still in China right now, but when it comes in...
I'll want to charge it to 100% and then use the battery until 0% (ad infinitum)? Is it unhealthy to leave it plugged in for too long? I've read the Apple battery page and want to make sure I don't eff my brand new $1200 machine.
It's a good idea to charge it up 100% before you start using it. That's what you should do with anything that has a rechargeable battery. After the power plug ring goes from orange to green, then start using it for the first time.illegal amigo said:I'll want to charge it to 100% and then use the battery until 0% (ad infinitum)?
