On MacBook, which is bank 0, which is bank 1? I'm referring to the memory slots when you're looking at them with the battery removed. Is bank 0 on the left? I installed new RAM and one side is not working.

Just try pushing down hard on both modules to see if they're both seated all the way into the slot. Seating ram takes a very surprising amount of force. Push them hard into the slot until right before it feels like something might break if you push any harder.

My understanding is that Bank 0 is the one on the right as you look at it upside down...closer to the USB ports.
