On Web, Error Is Uncovered Through Relentless Pursuit

    okay, so here's the photo in question. again, it's supposed to be baghdad, but is actually from outside istanbul:

    but what has Mr. Kaloogian put in its stead? this picture:

    as you can read on kaloogian's site, this picture has this caption:
    see? see how calm and stable baghdad is? you can tell from the lack of explosions in the background and all the smiling iraqis.

    score one for the liberal bloggers.

    mmm...that's a nice replacement photo - gives me a real intimate connection to the Iraqi street.

    How far off is something like this:

    "Hey, look at the progress! See how peaceful and orderly Iraq looks? Cities all neatly layed out with roads and provinces - just like our map. We're practically the same! Mission accomplished!!"

    I wonder how he'd feel about Iraq if he went without security. Still feel safe? Didn't think so. Why do you think the cabinet members always have to make "surprise" visits. ;)
