    Understanding the science behind it is great - but I can just imagine the first astronomers who saw the pic were absolutely baffled and awed.... this is the sort of thing that makes a job like that worth while. :D

    I hope someone does an animation on this and shows it from a different perspective. It wouldn't be that hard, but it would be cool to see.

    Definitely a cool photo. Hubble is producing fantastic images nearly every week, yet they still don't want to service it. :(

    i'ts good to see interesting photos that aren't "color enhanced"
    i really liked the explaination... very interesting indeed.

    Haven't they decided to get as much out of it as possible? Didn't they recently extend its life?
