As many already know OneUI 8 broke our alternate ways to apply custom fonts away from the Samsung store, apps like #mono and FlipFont are not working. I came across this thread on Reddit and watch YouTube video posted by someone on that Reddit thread.. it's working perfectly and I'm able to have around 7 fonts to choose from my settings by using Samsung store free fonts and modifying replacing with my own.

That is awesome! I actually thought about maybe we start a thread just about OneUI since I've noticed we share a lot of tips and tricks in different threads for different phones.

Definitely good idea let me know I can rename the subject

I tried that maybe last year and it didn't go anywhere. I would love a general OneUI thread (Or android software thread) because not everyone is going to buy a new phone every year.

Agree OneUI thread should be good across multiple devices like these fonts work on any device updated to latest and then we can share all other tips or tweaks for OneUI

I know I have shared this one before but are you sick of theming icons but not all of them changing?

Download Icon Pack Studio from the play store. From the app, you can create a icon pack based on a pack purchased from the Google Play Store, but it will theme every icon on your phone. Once you create the app, you can install it in the Theme Park app. It's pretty easy to figure out but if you get stuck, let me know!

Help me out here... if you purchase an icon pack to load into the Icon Pack Studio and it's missing an icon, what would you do? Create your own?

Reason I ask that... because that's essentially what Theme Park does (maybe Icon Pack Studio has more tools). Or maybe I'm misunderstanding and you need to use Theme Park to install whatever icon pack you create from Icon Pack Studio.

But the recent changes to Theme Park makes it much easier when it comes to editing.. now we can overwrite our saved icon pack before we had to create a new copy and delete the old one.

It's actually a smarter version of the theme park. With icon pack studio, you don't need to manually do anything, it literally changes those troubled apps to match the theme of the icon pack. Great example, my One Pro Black icon pack, there would normally be 20ish icons that wouldn't theme. That doesn't happen when I run it through icon pack studio.

But you are choosing an icon pack that has squirrle shapes... much easier for Icon Pack Studio to match the theme. Try an icon pack like Vera where it's all shapeless icons.

And you might be right that it is a smarter version of Theme Park, but personally haven't had any issues with it. If I find a missing icon not themed... the option to find a replacement is there.

Vera also works flawlessly with Icon Pack Studio. It literally changes every app to fit the theme. See the screenshot below. Probably about five of these apps would not have changed if just using the theme store. That's why Icon Pack Studio is the perfect compliment to it.

Again, if it works for you. Perfect. But the thing is… I don’t really care redundancy and Theme Park does all that need it to do. If I wasn’t able to replace the missing icons then I certainly go with Icon Pack Studio.

That's okay! I'm just giving a tip to those who actually do want that continuity without having to manually change individual apps since this is a thread for sharing OneUI tips. 😊

And I was asking you the process of creating an icon pack through Icon Pack Studio to get a better understanding… but we went on tangent debating on which better.

If you need Theme Park in order to install a created pack from Icon Pack Studio… but wasn’t answered.

I had no clue we were debating lol.

Anyway, hopefully someone finds it helpful even if it's not your cup of tea.

What’s the story behind your profile pic of the cat and phone? Or is it Micky Mouse? Lol
