Opening Word documents as default

    I have a lab at a college I'm working at filled with intel iMacs. Every time someone puts in a flashdrive and tries to open up a Word document they have to right click and open with that program. I'd prefer it if they could just double click it and Word would open up by default. Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks

    right click --> get info --> open with

    choose the app and click change all :cool:

    No worries, we found a way to do it all through unix and remote desktop to reset all the computers to do this. Thanks
