    If it's true that they will unlock the phone immediately for an extra €100 then it's the first step towards a fairly priced unlocked iPhone. If I happen to be in France once it's released I could see myself purchasing legit unlocked iPhone at €499.

    Damn - an unlock for a further €100 does sound good. Maybe Apple should consider opening a store in Calais, for all the day-tripping Brits to pop across and purchase from - they'd make a killing!
