I can't seem to run a diagnostic check on my OS 10.2.6 drive. I have my G4 partitioned into 4 drives & I can do the other three, with Systemworks & Drive 10, but I can't do the main drive. Why is this & is there a way I can do it?

You'd have to boot from the Drive 10 or Systemworks disc.

I'd recommend staying away from Systemworks.

But yeah, you can't do tests/repairs etc on the startup disk, you can only do those while booting off of one of the utilities disc.

If you bought Drive 10, just pop the disc in and restart, it should boot from it automatically, allowing you to run all your tests and defrag the drive, etc. etc. etc.
