my iBook cant read disc #2 of the OS X that came with the computer. whats wrong with it?
What sort of iBook? What sort of OSX? Is it a disk that came with the iBook, one that you bought separately from Apple, or (God forbid) a pirated version? Is the disk scratched? Can other Macs read it? When you say it's not reading, is it being spat back out, is it showing an error message or is it just spinning and not reacting to anything?
make sure the disks are not scratched/dirty!
it came with the computer and i accidentally reinstalled osx. it says that the dvd is blank. the disc itself is not badly scratched, is there any ways to make it cleaner? whats wrong here?
How badly scratched? This isn't sounding promising?
Could you try viewing the disk on a different computer (Mac or PC). You may be able to install from a network.
