We're looking for any LDAP editor for OS X here at work. It has to be able to edit on remote machines. We want to give one of our users something a bit beyond PHP web app experience and we're willing to pay for it.

The closest thing we've found on Google is Overdose but that's only for local Open Directory.

You want the OS X server tools, specifically "Workgroup Manager". These can be downloaded for free off Apple's website.

Hmm... I didn't see you wanted it to be used by "users" I guess Workgroup Manager is a bit "admin" for that. Oh well.

I always use LDAP Browser. It's quite old now but it's still perfectly functional. It's a Java app so it'll also run on Windows/Linux/etc nicely.

Definitely recommended especially for the price (free)!

Yeah, we have a user managing their own group so they don't destroy the entire directory. It's just that we'd like something nice to edit the LDAP directory. Windows has some slick programs. =/
