OS X on firewire drive??

Hi, I have another question...I know apple syays booting, installing OS X on a firewire drive is not supported...but I know people have done it. I was just wondering how you do it...when I start up my computer with the cd, the installer doesn't recognize my firewire drive....thanks for your help...

I THINK its possible

I THINK it's possible, but it involves painstakingly transfering every system file on your HD, including the invisible ones. an impossible task is OS X, and VERY difficult in OS 9.
