os X on the pc

    wasn't the original team code named star trek or trekkies or something that worked on OS X?

    i think we'll see os X on the pc on monday.

    NO WAY...

    Apple is known for the elegance and stability of their computer. OS X will never recognize these people with crap computers, no name stuff. It will never happen.

    OSX on Wintel

    I do not think Apple will release OSX for Intel as a general purpose OS.

    I do think it is remotely possible that they could work out a licensing arraignment with say IBM to provide OSX as a server OS on a few of their existing Intel boxes.

    This would not require any third party software developers to port their products over. It would also limit the configurations that Apple would have to test and limit the number of drivers that would need to be developed.
