    Hi,

I have an old Dell laptop running win2k, the screen has gone on it but the rest of the hardware works 100% so i'm not throwing it out.

    I recently bought an MBP.

I do a lot of hobbyist programming and i'm wondering if i network the laptops will i be able to compile and run j2me (my current interests line in cell phone games but i'm more a Mac/PC game programer) development software on the Dell from my MBP?

Basically, what i want to know is if i connected to the Dell from my MBP can i run software on the Dell (like the Sun Wireless toolkit) or simply just share files?

I probably sound like a total n00b but i'd appreciate any help!

    Thanks!

[an aside: I think it's disgraceful that Sun or Apple don't have a proper setup for developing j2me applications!]

Install a VNC client/host and you'll be good to go.
