    Hey All,
I arrived on macrumors on april 12 2004. Since I signed up I have become an active poster and reader. I love this community, great people, very informative and fun. My experience on macrumors has urged me to seek out other forums/communities for my other interests.
So I ws just wondering what other forums you guys go to.

There've been a couple, but the most recent I could find is 10 months old, so this is probably a good refresher.

I also infrequently head over to tivocommunity.com.

This thread (which also contains links to some older threads) is less than a month old...

But, to answer the question: I actually registered for ReunionTalk, a forum for the genealogy software Reunion, yesterday. But only because I was "forced to" by my girlfriend who "made me" answer a question over there... :p ;)

    not many. 3 regularly

    - here
    - and a dirtbike forum (dirtriders)
    - and also a parenting forum (also vBulletin format) that I run tech support for (I guess I'm actually an admin, only I refuse to deal with personal issues; people fight occcasionally and I am just not into dealing with that drama), so I am titled "Board Tech" but the admin control panel is where a great deal of my time is spent. it's pretty fun, vBulletin software is pretty amazing. that is my main forum.

I learn the most visiting here, this place is great!

Being a recording engineer, I tend to hang out on audio-related forums. My morning, afternoon, and evening Internet routine will invariably include a visit to:

    • The Digidesign User Conference
    • ProSoundWeb
    • TapeOp

I don't really post much though. I find that the members on both the ProSoundWeb and TapeOp forums seem to know, or know of, each other - and being on the other side of the world, I'm pretty isolated from that community. So I just watch and learn. :D

I used to spend a lot of time on Applefritter (I'd been there pretty much since the site started up in 2000) but since they moved to an entirely new system for content and forums a year or so back my involvement in the site pretty much stopped.

These days I'm lucky if I have time to open a browser, let alone visit forums, try to stop by here and MacNN once a week or so. Outside of that I do a quick sweep of Saab Central every fortnight.
