Seeing as we have seen many forum posters who have had problems, as well as many who have not, I suspect there are situations, hopefully fixable by software (all just speculation though), that Apple missed or overlooked, which affect some users but not others.Doesn't the *fact* that the phone often has problems if you touch it make you wonder about your belief?
Apple could learn a lot from Microsoft in this area.
There's no way I can think Apple would've never had it out of a case with an exposed antenna. Surely they wouldn't be that stupid...
I lol'd
The fact that 2.4 times as many people are running Windows 7 as are running all versions of OSX combined is evidence that Microsoft has a handle on QA. Apple *could* learn some things from Microsoft.

You can't compare desktop OS marketshare and use it as a metric of quality or anything else unfortunately. It hasn't been about quality or usability or anything really since DOS 1.0 saw the light of day on a IBM PC.
The rapid adoption of Windows 7 is evidence that it's a pretty solid release.
The rapid adoption of Windows 7 is evidence of much ink and e-ink being dropped about how bad Vista was, no matter if any of it was true or not.
Again, Desktop OS marketshare, adoption, etc.. has not been about quality since Microsoft's stranglehold on it became a reality with their initial partnership with IBM.
