What's with the pancakes showing up in avatars? Am I going crazy?

I tried to find the thread that started it all, but searching for pancakes yeilds nothing. Except strange looks from coworkers passing by.

Maybe everyone is getting hungry! ;)

Buttermilk, blueberry, and strawberry pancakes with real maple sirup dancing in my head as I drift off to dreamland. :D

Better yet, smothered in room-temperature butter and piping hot maple syrup.

Me too! Even though it's 3.30am and I have to be at work by 9am, I'm determined to fit pancakes in somewhere.

How does everyone make their pancakes?

I don't make pancakes. Bad for the skin :p But back when I was a muggle I just had plain ones. 3 with about a gallon of syrup. I think the thin ones were always best. :)

    But not how you spell:

    Je ne sais quoi.

    :)

Oh holy CRAP.. I was going to go to ****ing nincom ****ing poop Waffle House (yuck).
    I totally forgot about CB!

Thanks GIR, I owe you one.

Funny thing is, last night I made pancakes. While watching hockey. And managed to completely **** them up! How you burn them on the outside and still have them uncooked on the inside.. time to let a professional do it.

Only reason I remember them is because we stopped there on the way back form the beach a couple of weeks ago. I don't know what they do, but their pancakes make all the others look and taste rubbery and disgusting.

I love the little heated bottles of maple syrup they give you.

    Yummmm.....

:D I'm impressed. You can have that pancake, I'll take the cheese from your 'tar (so long as it's not too stinky or sharp).

:edit: Freaking Gary, heated bottle of maple syrup?! That sounds so good... argh. It's lunchtime! :(

Admittedly CB is creepy to me (as a Yankee). The whole store thing inside.. great idea, but creepy. I think maybe CB is the breakfast version of Red Lobster. <yikes>

I actually like CB's food. But the store is creepy. All these pictures of old dead people on the walls. Old toys and such, very creepy. And while the gobs of candy look tempting, its hard to sell me 'fresh' candy in such a place.
