How reliable is the Panther faxing feature and how is the quality? I've tried it a few times and find it a bit odd... first the preview quality looks quite grainy and when you actually send the fax, the progress bar doesn't really say much. After a while, it says "Fax completed" but the bar continues to move for about 2 minutes before it goes away and says "no jobs pending". I need to know if this is going to be reliable, since I'm doing quite a bit of fax-based job hunting.

please remember faxes were NOT designed to send perfect images. if you are sending text i.e. resume you should be fine. it is generally understood that fax quality or a few extra lines in a fax won't bother a person who looks at faxes every single day. however, usually most text faxes are just fine.
